Why One Leaf Soap?
1. We Use All Natural Organic Ingredients
Many people actively try to minimize the amount of toxins which enter their body. However, not many people know that toxins can be absorbed through the skin. The commercial soap purchased from stores is made of inexpensive chemical ingredients. A steaming shower with chemical bars could possibly expose you to even more toxins. On the other hand, organic soap contains ingredients that are not produced with herbicides, chemical fertilizers or pesticides. One Leaf Soap uses natural oils and at least 80% or more are certified organic oils (Understand that not all oils have certified organic versions.) One Leaf Soap is a trustworthy brand that gives you peace of mind with each use.
2. Vegan/Cruelty Free
One Leaf Soap also avoids all forms of animal cruelty. We don’t use animal fats, milk or beeswax in our soap. We use Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Canola Oil, Safflower Oil, Rice Ban Oil, and Castor Oil. Animal fats are not needed to make our soap luxurious.
3. Soy Bean Milk base
Soy bean milk is famous for its essential fatty acids, proteins, fiber, vitamins and minerals which are beneficial to your skin. The protein provided by soy milk also keeps skin tissues moisturized and increases their elasticity. One Leaf Soap uses soy bean milk as a base to mix with organic oil and lye. Our soap bars are filled with properties that will rejuvenate your skin. Of course, the soy beans we use are organic.
4. Manufactured by Hand
One Leaf Soap product is handcrafted in small batches to ensure excellent quality. We respectfully adapted traditional methods by combining olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, Shea butter, sweet almond oil, and avocado oil with lye and soy bean milk. All bars produce abundantly rich moisturizing bubbles. Therefore, we don’t need to add any artificial foaming agents. All the bars are cured on curing racks for a month. This assures both the quality and mildness of the soap.
5. Cold processed
There are different ways to make soap. The Cold Process method takes a longer time to work but is most beneficial to the skin. The cold process method is the act of mixing selected oil with lye water at the room temperature. The amount of lye water and oil is carefully balanced to ensure that all the lye is transformed through the curing process. The main benefit of the cold process is maintaining complete control over the ingredients and preserving the nutritious and therapeutic properties in the oils. Cold process soap requires 4-6 weeks to cure on racks before use.
6. Gorgeous Piece of art
The most appealing factor about One Leaf Soaps is that they are simply pieces of art. Our soaps often have intricate designs with exquisite swirls and colors. Every bar is one of a kind and the technique we use is hard to replicate. One Leaf Soaps pamper your skin and make great gifts for your loved ones.
